Roasted Potato, Onion, Rosemary Bread - $4.25

The Thursday special for the winter is back. Roasted Yukon Gold potatoes (skins and all!), caramelized onions, and fresh rosemary all in a fendu (split loaf) - yep, it looks like a butt!

Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Peanut Butter Tarts - $3.50 ea

Our Valentine's Day Special...who knows, maybe the peanut butter one will go past Valentine's Day! By the way, those are my real teeth marks, so if you were ever going to try and pin a murder on me by fabricating bite marks, this is the time. Seriously, you get one chance.

Apricot Almond Ricotta Tarts - $4.00 ea

I love these. Every day, I genuinely hope one gets ruined in the back so I can eat one. The super-creamy cheese filling is made with hand-dipped Calabro Ricotta, made in Connecticut using milk from Vermont cows. If you've never tried this brand of cheese before, it's like no ricotta you've ever tasted. It makes the bland, grainy stuff you get at the Super Mart seem like paper pulp in comparison - this stuff is like ice cream. So the filling is more like a custard than anything, and the apricots simmered in white wine and crunchy toasted almonds make a nice counterpoint. Am I gushing? Well, time to go ruin a tart and have me a snack!

Irish Soda Bread - Price TBA

This big ol' buttermilk biscuit has become a baker's favorite here. We'll be starting them on Saturday, March 1st, and they'll be available throughout St. Patty's Day. Available with or without raisins - pictures to come

Hot Cross Buns - Price TBA

Starting on March 3rd, we'll be offering Hot Cross Buns. Spiced with ground allspice and dotted with raisins and house-candied orange peel, they really cause riots when crossed with vanilla frosting. No picture yet, but I'll throw one up when I do my test run next week or so.

It is our hope that more and more communities will have bakeries of their own as people are reintroduced to the freshness of locally-made products. We are proud to join those bakers who have helped revitalize the artisan bread movement in this country.
