New Products, Seasonal Specials: HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

HOLIDAY SPECIALS have been decided upon!

These items, along with most of our regular menu (same as Thanksgiving, really) will be available for order until WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19th.

Pickup will be on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 23rd, from 7am - 2pm.

White Chocolate Cherry Almond Bread Pudding (serves 6-8): Our popular brioche/croissant bread pudding, filled with almonds and a layer of white chocolate and cherries right down the middle. Fine at room temp, but serve it up warm for extra goodness.

Gingerbread with Cream Cheese Frosting (serves 6-8): Our gingerbread is a zesty version of the classic holiday cake, sweetened with molasses and flecked with diced candied ginger. The cream cheese frosting smooths out the spiciness of the cake.

Large Apple Tart: No explanation needed! A classic!

Cranberry Walnut Rolls: They were so popular at Thanksgiving, we decided to bring these nutty rolls back for another go in December.

Sweet Potato Rolls: Better than ever, these went fast last year and we're making more! Soft, buttery, sweet, and kind of orange!

Holiday Braid: The is a cross between a Brioche and our Challah bread, with the added punch of almonds, raisins, and candied orange peel. It's braided and rolled into a round - perfect for dessert, and breakfast the next day.

It is our hope that more and more communities will have bakeries of their own as people are reintroduced to the freshness of locally-made products. We are proud to join those bakers who have helped revitalize the artisan bread movement in this country.
