And there's nothing like a small, artisan bakery to pull that off. That's why Jackie and I decided to open up our personal and professional dream in Salem. It's a close-knit community, large enough to be self-sufficent and small enough to embrace the burgeoning small business that make great communities unique. We're a stone's throw away from a wonderful bookstore, shops and sights, and amazing museum, antiques galore and some of the best restaurants north of Boston - all in the center of one of the most historically important cities in America. We couldn't ask for anything more (cue inspiring music).
So Jackie and I just wanted to introduce our bakery, A&J King Artisan Bakers, and ourselves.
Making artisan bread is not about following a recipe. It is about honing technique and honoring tradition.
